Background

 

College : Tier 3
Year of passout : 2022

 

Applied Amazon offcampus since the service based company I got placed during my campus placement is delaying the joining.

 

Online Assessment

 

There were two easy-medium problems were there, one was from simple DFS and other from hashing.

 

Recruiter told me after 4 days that I have passed the OA, soon I will have the interview.

 

Round 1

 

Asked a hard DP leetcode problem which I have already solved, but I pretend to build the logic and solve the problem at that point only, by seeing so, the interviewer (SDE3) got impressed.

Then she asked me questions (Tech + LP) from the projects I made during my college time.

 

After that, she asked me questions from multithreading, with a banking senario, which I explained her.

 

Overall, this round went well.

 

Round 2 :

 

Started with basic LP questions then he immediately switched to the coding questions.
Asked 2 medium level coding questions, one was direct from the leetcode, and other was based on the binary search but not on leetcode (I guess so).

 

Round 3 :

 

Interviewer seems to very experienced, he started with the full stack project I build. he found the project so good, and asked so many questions on it, and also said that, same kind of thing, their team is working on.
Then, he asked me to design an application like Splitwise, I told him the Graph (Matrix) approach, and had a good discussion on it.

 

After few days, I got the result.

 

Result : Selected !

 

Tip : I did the leetcode rigorously, and followed the Gammaprep course for DSA concepts, projects, and referrals. Also I followed Blind 75 DSA problems.
