Yes, if you are selected in EIS domain, then you are definitely gonna be trained in that. Your training will be for a duration of 3 months. Once you go to your base location (place of posting), you report to the RMG (Resource Management Group). Then they will try to find you a project, mostly in your domain (in your case EIS). However, in some cases you may be put into some kind of IT project based on the requirement ( not very often though).

Sometimes what happens is you may have been trained in some stream,say NPD or Embedded (one of the streams of EIS) and can end up in some other streams such as PLM (also a stream of EIS).

All these totally depends upon the requirements and hence nothing could be said with absolute surety.
