I will tell you how this scam works and illustrate it because I know you have asked this question because like me you also received this email

HOW TCS EMAIL SCAM WORKS:

See, I passed out last year and I was a post grad I was working in a place which was a mental abuse for me so as any sane person I started looking for a Job and by my surprise I got a mail from IBM saying the same thing as the TCS mail which I am going to show you here.

Now lets talk about how TCS scam email works-

First, the mail will come from this address

Subject: Hiring

To: XYZ

And it will come as a PDF file have you ever heard a company is sending you a PDF file to tell you that your CV has been selected? I guess not.

Now let us check what the email says I will put the pictures below and I will also explain-

This is the first portion of the page of the PDF file which comes in the email. It will say that they hiring in bulk your CV has been selected etc etc.

It will lure you with high package salary and also you will see a stamp which exactly looks like TCS stamp but I can tell you this much that it can be made by any stamp maker. Look at the salary date as per my knowledge all the existing MNC in India dispatch their salary by end of the month if not early.

Look at the job timing don’t you think its to good to be true? Mon-Fri 10-5? are you kidding me?

Now the main catch comes I have never heard in my entire life that a company like TCS will ask for a down payment of rs 8,500 from you for the interview of course it is refundable (In your dreams) this is the part which you should read very carefully and this is the part which gives it away but not everyone will look at this the way I did because you are desperate to get a job and you will do anything to get into TCS with a package like that.

Say you send the money where? wait till you see this -

You send to joseph ofcourse. And if you do not contact him no one will be able to provide you any details and Dr. Joseph will not be picking up the phone after you pay up.

I am writing this because I want people to open their eyes I know you are desperate to get a job but be careful of the scammers. Be smart.
