Work Experience: SDE Intern
Position: Software Engineer, Atlassian
Location: Banglore, India
This was an On-Campus hiring for Full Time.
Students having CGPA>7 and only of 4 branches could apply for the position (CSE, IT, ECE, EEE).
Process:
1.Technical Test (Online Coding Round):
It was conducted on Hackerrank. There were 3 problems and the time was 90 minutes.
Out of 3 problems, 1 was easy and other two were medium/hard questions. I think people who solved 2.5-3 got selected for the next process. I was able to solve 2.5 out of 3 questions.
12 were shortlisted after this round.
2. Tech interview (Round 1):
It was conducted on zoom. It was basically a DS Algo round.She started with 'Tell me about yourself'. After that she went on to ask two coding questions.

I solved both the questions. I took 20 minutes solving each question and was explaining every line of code while writing the code. I used relevant variable names during the interview. After that she asked me to give an overview of the projects that I have made. Then she asked questions of the languages that I have used. For example : Difference between SQL and NoSQL, When to use React JS and when to use Vanilla JS.
After 1st Round, 9 students were remaining.
3. Tech interview (Round 2):
It was also conducted on Zoom and it was of 1 hour. He was the coolest interviewer I have ever met. It was project round.We started with "Tell me about yourself". After that we dived deep in my first project. Idea of the project, Languages used, scalability, problems occured, handling of the team. As I was the team lead of the project, so I was handling the team. I had two projects, so around 45 minutes were given to the projects and tell me about yourself. After that he asked me ds algo question which I had to answer verbally only.
**4. HR Round(Round 3) **
It was conducted on Zoom and was of 1 hour. The interviewer had a very classy accent(I got nervous). He asked many situational questions. he asked me about my experiences of handling teams, etc. It was a tough interview according to me :).
3 students were selected and I was one of them.
After one month, they extend our offer from FTE to 6 month intern + FTE.
