I recently interviewed for Amazon UK SDE L4.

Round 1 - OA 1 LC Hard Level + 1 LC Easy Level [Cleared]
Round 2 Phone Screening 1 LC Hard Level [Cleared]
OnSite Rounds -
Day-1 Round 1 30 mins LP + 30 mins DSA 1 LC Medium Level
Typical DSA round, given question disscussed the edge cases, gave Brute Force Approach, optimised it for Time and Space Complexity. And finally coded the solution.
At last he gave me some time to ask if I've any question for him.
Day-1 Round 2 30 mins LP + 30 mins DSA Talked positively about previous round feedbacks System Design + DSA
Interviewer was not interested in optimizing the solution, we talked about how we could store the data in DB, scalability of solution. Once we were done with figuring out the flow of the system, he asked me to identify the objects, explain the relationship between classes and code it out.
I identified the objects, explained the design with references from Design Patterns, and at last I was left with 6-7 mins to code, but managed to do so, leaving out handeling the getter and setter methods of the classes as asked by Interviewer.
After that he asked some follow up question on handeling NULL Objects, I explained with help of Null Object Design Pattern and little more basic follow up. The interview was extended for further 10 mins.
At last he gave me some time to ask if I've any question for him.
Day-2 Round 3 30 mins LP + 30 mins DSA System Design + DSA
Was similar to Day-1 Round 2. But in this round I was provided with set of questions that helped me understand the exact expectation of system. Interviewer asked me to focus on solving only few questions from set.
We disscussed the approach and done with 1st optimization, I could have optimized the solution further but Interviewer asked me not to focus us on optimization and explain the flow. Did the same, and started with design, talked with refrence from Design Patterns and implemented the solution. Was not able to write code for all questions in set because of time constraint. But already has disscussed the solution approach for all.
At last he gave me some time to ask if I've any question for him.
Day-2 Round 4 30 mins LP + 30 mins DSA 1 LC Hard Level
Typical DSA round, given question disscussed the edge cases, gave Brute Force Approach, optimised it for Time and Space Complexity. And finally coded the solution.
After this we disscussed about a research project of mine from college time, which I had mentioned in my resume.
At last he gave me some time to ask if I've any question for him.
Result Day - Received call from HR, she informed me that I was Rejected. And I should get more experience in production environment and re-apply after 2 Years(24 Months).
When I asked about feedback, she told some No Feedback Policy of Amazon.
Does Amazon have something called No Feedback Policy ?
Is it normal for Amazon to put on 2-Years cooling period ?
Verdict ? Rejected...
Why ? Don't No No Feedback Policy
