No, not really.
TCS has a Holiday Home facility that can be availed by the employee and their family members. Kindly note that friends are not allowed. There are some other restrictions on the number of members allowed in one room and the number of days you can stay, but its a benefit that is open to all TCS Employees.
Currently they have Holiday Homes at the following cities:
- Lonavala
- Panchgani
- Coorg
- Coonoor
- Puri
- Munnar
- Manali
- Gangtok
- Goa
TCS has tie ups with these hotels and the stays are completely free of cost, except the food bills incurred and they aren't scamming through this because there isn't any other money involved. I know a few colleagues who have availed the facility and I have heard positive reviews from each one of them.
But yes, getting a booking at these Holiday Homes is a matter of luck since the booking is open 30 days before the actual date of booking and there are many people waiting to book their room at sharp 8 am, when the booking starts.
