I was hired as an intern at TCS, Bangalore last summer and i would say it was the best moment of my life. today, I work as the SDE-I level and i am willing to continue with the company for the next couple of years. Before, i would fly abroad or may start my own consultancy company. Let me tell you Tata Consultancy Services is a big company and has a huge customer base with good employee strength. I have been TCS for nearly one and half years and you get your time to manage. They ask you for nine hours a day and if you see any other job you will find the same. But compared to other jobs you have a lot of other elements which I’ll explain to you in a later part.

The work-life balance is good but mostly it depends on varied factors like your projects, deadlines, senior managers and process needs. But, i personally feel most of the projects have moderate to low pressure provided you have covet skills, and other factors like team bonding, good communication skills and coordination. Before, i was placed at TCS i did my certification in Software development from Ekeeda - India's top educational app, and believe me it was the best investment of my life. The kind of knowledge and experience faculties have is simply amazing and brings out the best in you. You learn programming languages like C++, Python and Java, clear concepts on networking and OS, Data structures and algorithms, build fast reliable codes and even do advanced-level coding. All in all you get the confidence in front of the interview to speak and share the in-demand skills you achieve. I would say it’s a must for every beginner who wishes to enter the professional sphere.

People mostly spend 8 to 9 hours in the office, enjoy a good amount of breaks, eat healthily, spend time watching Television or surfing nets, take a walk in IT parks, enjoy music, get coupons and discount vouchers, hit the gym, get covered with health insurance, etc. What else do you expect if you get to live a beyond basic life at TCS

Other than this, TCS provides job security and it’s a kind of hi-tech government office.

If you have talent, confidence, and act as a team player you will have an opportunity to travel abroad, enjoy good salary and exposure.

Here i have tried to share my honest experience and unbiased opinion. i hope it helps you

Cheers, Good luck!
