I worked 7 yrs in different projects of TCS. Yet My package increased 5.25LPA after 7.1 yrs working in TCS. I was not satisfied with this. I was seeing other people at same experience is getting 15 L or more than this. With this small package TCS is having variables pay system. So I was getting 35K in hand and every quarter I was getting 45K something. I was trying hard to switch the company since last 4 yrs. But due to 3 month notice period even after clearing the interview, no one was ready to give offer letter. I was very tensed and I was not enjoying my work in TCS because in my heart I was feeling like they are using me. Same work someone getting 1LPM and I was getting only 30k. Then I was not having other option and I resigned without any offer. I learned new things in my profile and started giving interview. After 2 month I got the offer from small company and after 2.5 month I got the offer from HCL. HCL offered me 9 LPA still less as compared to market standard but due to less package in TCS, this is what they can offered. So I accepted and keep looking then after 4 months I got another opportunity with 15 LPA from mindtree then again I got counter offer from another company and my current package is 24LPA with 7.9yrs of experience. So within 8 months I jumped from 5 LPA to 24 LPA.
