Flipkart to hire more than one lakh staff this festive season
Flipkart, the home-grown e-tailer, has decided to ramp up its workforce by hiring over 1 lakh delivery people across over 40 cities during this festive season.
These roles would encompass various supply chain verticals, including inventory managers, warehouse associates, logistics coordinators, kirana partners and delivery drivers, said the company.
Ahead of its planned discount sales, Flipkart has also launched 11 new fulfilment centres across nine cities, bringing the total number of such centres in the country to 83.

Flipkart's <Girls Wanna Code/> 6.0 is the sixth edition of a program dedicated to promoting women tech talent in India.

Launched in 2018, this initiative champions the advancement of women in technology throughout India through a focused four-month program.
Participants, after registering for Girls Wanna Code 6.0 on the Unstop platform, will undergo a 90-minute online coding challenge.

Responsibilities
You will use machine learning, NLP, data mining and statistical techniques to develop innovative, scalable solutions for business problems
You will build scalable data pipelines for machine learning
You will conduct statistical analysis on large amounts of data
You need to research and implement cutting-edge machine learning and statistical approaches.
You adhere to Zeotap’s company, privacy and information security policies and procedures.
You complete all the awareness trainings assigned on time.
Requirements:
Must have a degree in BE /MTech with Computer science background
Available for mandatory 6 months internship starting from February 2025 to July 2025
You should have taken at least one full term course in NLP or ML
You should have strong problem-solving ability
Expertise in python programming skills.
